The Diamond Pacific MT-14 Mini-Sonic Vibrating Rock Tumbler - 1 Hopper is an easy to use vibratory tumbler ideal for delicate jobs. With a cast polyvinyl hopper that holds up to 14 pounds of material, this hopper is designed with no moving parts - no motors, pulleys, or belts to break down. Instead, it operates via the principle of interrupted electrical current, which creates a gentle vibration that moves the contents of the hopper only. This effective method is gentle on your materials and lets them keep their original shape. An alternating compacting and separation action draws abrasives into your materials and creates a slurry that accomplishes gentle polishing.

The Mini-Sonic operates with 3600 vibrations per minute on 60Hz of power. Only a small amount of water and abrasive is required for operation. Too much of either will cause material to collect in the hopper and prevent proper rotation.
