With a durable polyvinyl hopper that holds up to 10 pounds of material, this hopper is great for medium-sized jobs and uses no moving parts to accomplish tumbling. Because there are no motors, pulleys, shafts, or belts, this tumbler is longer-lasting and gentler on your stones, too, letting them keep their original shape even during polishing.

The Mini-Sonic operates via an interrupted electronic current, which creates a gentle vibration that accomplishes the tumbling. The tumbler itself, including the hopper, stays almost motionless - it is the contents only that experience movement. An alternating separation and compaction process draws fresh abrasive up into your materials and forms a slurry that coats and polishes.

The Mini-Sonic operates with 3600 vibrations per minute on 60Hz of power.

Only a small amount of water and abrasive is required for operation. Too much of either will cause material to collect in the hopper and prevent proper rotation.
