Comments about Kingsley North Ungraded 60/90 Silicon Carbide Grit:

I bought this grit due to another review. I am tumbling my own glass to make faux sea glass. It's almost too good, it knocked the sharp edges down in 18 hours, but left the surface too course for my preference. That is not a criticism, just an FYI for anyone looking to use this on glass. But because it ground so fast, my glass was done in 2 days (day two being a finer grit) rather than 4. I'm extremely pleased and will continue using this for the first grind.

Comments about Kingsley North Ungraded 60/90 Silicon Carbide Grit:

I'm using this product for the 1st step to make sea glass in my tumbler. In 2 days time this grit effectively removes all the sharp edges from the glass shards. Leaves a nice frosted finish on the glass, too.

Comments about Kingsley North Ungraded 60/90 Silicon Carbide Grit:

Great Grit for use in the first stage of Rock Tumbling. The instructions given seemed to be more appropriate for Rotary Tumblers. I'm using a Vibrating Tumbler, the 2 teaspoons + 2-4 Teaspoons of water instructions that came with the tumber seems to work better than the 8 tablespoons + water just below the top of the rock level.
